Delegating HH

Delegating HH

HH is Holyhood's own token. Locking it against a token buys that token promotion time — a Promoted badge and placement in the promoted strip on the market page.

The app calls this Delegate.

How it works

  • HH is delegated in whole units. On the current testnet configuration one unit is 1,000 HH.
  • Each unit earns a fixed amount of promotion time per day locked. On testnet that is 15 minutes per unit per day.
  • Locks run from 1 to 365 days.
  • Partial units do not count. Delegate in exact multiples.

So the promotion a token receives scales with both how much HH is locked and how long it is locked for. Promotion time is granted up front, based on the full lock you committed to.

TODO — confirm before publishing: HH is currently deployed on testnet only. Confirm the mainnet HH address, unit size, and rate before this page goes to real users.

There is no early exit

Once you delegate, your HH is locked until the term you chose ends. There is no unstaking early, no penalty option, no partial withdrawal. When the lock expires you withdraw the full amount.

The promotion is not refunded if you change your mind — it was already granted.

What it looks like

  • Promoted tokens get a Promoted badge on their market row and appear in the promoted strip.
  • Each token page has a Backers tab listing who has delegated to it, with live countdowns to each unlock.
  • Your own delegations are listed on the Delegate page. That list needs you to be signed in.

What it is not

Promotion buys visibility, nothing else. It does not affect the token's price, its curve, its fees, or its chance of graduating, and it is not a signal that the token is good. A promoted token is an advertised token.
